Gwani

In Tralgon, where the seas and gulf intertwine, lies the wondrous and enigmatic culture of the Gwani, a group as mysterious and removed as the words of Onsero, the mysterious language isolate which they speak.   With their lively spirit and deep connection to the sea, the Gwani culture embodies the essence of Tralgon's maritime heritage, their culture thriving on the abundant bounties of the ocean which shape their way of life and foster a profound respect for the waters that surround them. The Gwani possess an innate understanding of the tides, currents, and marine life, which they view as sacred manifestations of their ancestral spirits. Bren-Brihaer, the sea-based religion of the region, holds a special place in Tralgon's cultural landscape: Shrines to the Blue Giver adorn the coastal landscape, acting as gateways to the spiritual realm and places of solace where devotees offer up their prayers and wishes, by casting stones inscribed with them into the ocean, and out to the deepest realms of the sea where deity resides.   In the heart of Tralgon, the bustling capital city of Sarcht stands as a testament to the Gwani's entrepreneurial spirit and political prowess. Here, the sea's influence is palpable, with bustling harbors and lively markets filled with the aroma of freshly caught seafood. In the sun-kissed subregions of Oseles and Achenrist, Gwani artisans showcase their mastery of seashell crafts, weaving intricate patterns and creating stunning jewelry that captures the essence of the ocean's allure. These treasures, adorned with iridescent pearls and delicate coral formations, are a testament to the Gwani's artistic ingenuity and their ability to transform natural wonders into objects of exquisite beauty.   The Gwani have good relations with the minority Sacti culture, whose principal home is nearby Otoron.
