Allsēl
The Allsēl, also called All-Soul or the Great Everything is the living spirit inherent to all things across the Cosmos according to the beliefs of the Eldest Faith and, some argue, the Aldtruth-Kept among Dwarves.
The All-Soul is said to be present in all living beings, landscape features, and even reside in objects be they natural or manufactured.
Manifestations of the All-Soul are referred to as Incarnae.
Examples of this are Spirit Beasts and the Great Beasts of the Leshivoi Forest but by definition any living being could be considered that in some way. The Eldest Faith among the Forestfolk believes that the existence as sapient beings is merely a temporary and transient experience and part of the cycle of endless permutations that the Allsēl goes through, splitting into bodies, living lives before once again absorbing into its own larger self that encompasses everything in the whole Cosmos.
It is this belief that makes the Forestfolk consider themselves to be inseperable and unalienable from the rest of the natural world and in-fact not the rulers of the Great Cavern of Aman-ya that the city-dwelling drau see themselves as.
To them even distinctions of clan or species are merely temporary traits held by their mortal bodies before their eventual Transmutation back into the cosmic soul of everything where all is one and all is the same universal thing and it is that belief that truly unifies the Forestfolk in their widely dispersed, culturally diverse and multi-species ways.
By everything that divides, say, the Widdefolk from the Wild Elves or the Lüngarmane they believe these differences to be merely transient.
