Great Beasts
The Great Beasts of the Leshivoi Forest are legendary beasts of great power and mystical abilities said to dwell within the Forest and said to be among the most-sacred and most powerful of the Incarnae of the Firstborn of the Greatwood.
The Great Beasts are uncounted and embody the more primal, violent and not-yet-personalized shape of the Firstborn Spirits before they became worshipped as the Eldest Gods.
They are equal parts feared and revered by the people of the Leshivoi Forest as the mightiest predators, greatest destroyers and keeper of the balance of life and all things within the Allsēl.
Where the Eldest Gods are said to hear the prayers of the Forestfolk the Great Beasts are said to refuse to learn to tongues of those that walk on two-legs entirely and feast on the flesh of the most devoted Urdeain as readily as on that of the wretched people of Styx.
Despite the fearful nature of the Great Beasts in general there is little more terrifying and horrid to the Forestfolk on both a level of physical danger and potential for harm as well as a spiritual level than one of the Great Beasts that has succumbed to Incarnae Corruption.
