Minnet Hwell
Minnet Hwell, Isle of Ports, is located in the southeast corner of Orcli, and is known for its palm trees, wetland forests, and port towns, serving as a popular launching pad for expeditions to Zabokh or shipments heading to Hevedberg from the hwells north of Moethe.
Minnet's capital is Hopton, located in the northwest of the island and is known for its long, winding bay and brackish water.
To the south lies Suthton, which is known for its pineapple plantations and launching point for Zabokh expeditions.
Geography
Minnet Hwell is divided into 3 regions:
- The Upwoods: a semi-tropical deciduous forest slightly higher elevation and thus not as prone to flooding as the Downwoods - it is north but geographically it is higher elevation as well.
- The Downwoods: a wild region of floodplain forest, known for its periodic flooding, which deposits saltwater and nutrient-rich sediments, which over time develops into hardy ferns useful for potion-making.
- The Pineapplewods: a region with lighter-colored silty sandy soil and towering palm trees with lower palm bushes and pineapples.
History
Minnet Hwell has historically been a popular shipping stop for human shipments traveling through the straight separating the north of the island from Brigge Ieg, or westward to Meyjakh and southward to Zabokh.
