Tzimisce

The Old Clan, Voivodes, Stokers, Dragons.

Clan Tzimisce are one of the fourteen vampiric clans. The Tzimisce are known for two things: their covetousness, and their search for bodily and spiritual purity.
The Dragons are infamous for their possessiveness. Taking what they want for their own and keeping it like the dragons of legend guarding their hoards. With fatal jealousy.
Additionally they are ever searching for perfection of the self. Using their mastery of Protean to craft their own bodies til they represent their truest, inner selves. Be that the Dragon crafting themselves until the name fits, the Voivode whom seeks a visage so royal all will stare in awe and submission, or a supermodel looking to achieve a beauty beyond any mortal's ken. They will often use this same ability to practice on their unfortunate victims, or sell their services to others seeking a new look.

A rarely spoken of tendency amongst the Tzimisce is their hospitality. Though it isn't unique to the Old Clan, unlike many other clans where hospitality is a result of a clan-culture's norms and ethics. The Tzimisce as a clan take the act of being the hospitable host extremely seriously. A Tzimisce that has offered you their home and protection will give you what they have to offer; food, a place to sleep, garantueed safety whilst inside their domain. Making their havens simultaneously the most dangerous place for victims and trespasser, yet the safest place for a Dragon's allies.

As one of the sect's two founding clans, the Tzimisce are primarily aligned with the Sabbat. Though many are also Autarkis, or even Anarch.

Embrace

The Tzimisce's choice of childer can be as varied as themselves; or even a means to keep a mortal they've deemed their property around forever. Though varied they may be, a commonality amongst the Dragons' potential childer is a desire for self-perfection or the perfection of others. Athletes, supermodels, bioengineers are a few obvious examples; though a king or CEO seeking to perfect their kingdom/ corporation, a teacher or coach, or vigilante cleaning up their home neighbourhood are also examples of perfectionists the Tzimisce look for.

To many Tzimisce sires the Embrace is an act of ownership, seeing their childe in a traditional sire-childe relationship of old, some even go as far as consider their childers property. Some will jealously guard their childe. So much they would rather see them destroyed then fall into the hands of others.

Clan Disciplines

Animalism

Allowing the Dragons to extend their oneness with the land and dominate and own the local fauna.

Dominate

A Voivode does not allow for their commands to be ignored. So with Dominate they force upon their edicts and reinforce ownership on their subjects; and in tandem with Protean are even able to command the flesh of themselves and others to form as they wish.

Protean

As they claim ownership and command others, so too do they claim total ownership and command their own bodies. Combined with Dominate, Protean becomes the signature, nightmare inducing discipline they are known for. Crafting their own and others' flesh as they desire.

Unique Powers

  • Vicissitude (Level 2 Protean amalgam, requires 2 dots in Dominate)
  • Fleshcrafting (Level 3 Protean amalgam, requires 2 dots in Dominate and the Vicissitude power)
  • Horrid Form (Level 4 Protean amalgam, requires 2 dots in Dominate and the Vicissitude power)
  • One With the Land (Level 5 Protean amalgam, requires 2 dots in Animalism and the Earth Meld power)

Bane

Grounded

Each Tzimisce must select a specific charge, be it physical location, a group of people, or something even more esoteric. Each night they must sleep surrounded by their charge, if they do not, they sustain aggravated Willpower damage equal to their Bane Severity upon waking the following night. Older Tzimisce are known for sleeping surrounded by earth from their homeland.

Compulsion

Covetousness

When afflicted with this compulsion they become obsessed with owning something in the scene, be it an object, or property to a living person. Whatever it is, they must add it to their collection and any action taken not towards this purpose incurs a two-dice penalty. This penalty continues until ownership is established or the object of their desire is unobtainable.
