Giniseve Reborn
Before The Great Blink Giniseve was perhaps the trade capital of the world. Isle of Stormhide 's central position between the continents (more northerly before the blink) made it's port a neccessary stop for most trade ships taking many routes.
After The Great Blink , most of the original city was found to have moved inland, through means which are not understood. Some of Giniseve's original inhabitants still live in these ruins inFelshear and are known as The Blind.
When Voswiadul was rediscovered work commenced to rebuild the city in its original position on the south coast, an operation funded by both the Keepers Of The Sun and The Golden Claw.
The district of Old Town is built upon the only remaining ruins of Old Giniseve that remained in this location while the rest of the original city was moved.
Fishing boats sail where the original city once stood, while the district of Old Town looks down from the cliffs above.
The city is controlled by the Keepers Of The Sun, who have a strong military presence here and are led by Xyrrel Yelfaren, a high cleric of Lathander and ranking commander on Voswiadul.

Government
Social and economic issues are dealt with by The Council of Giniseve Reborn.
Within the council, different political parties can be represented - the most popular two being The Resurgence Union and the New Voswildian Society.
Generally speaking, North Old Town, South Old Town, Shiram Garden and Temple Town support The Resurgence Union.
Free Shiram and South Brurul generally support the New Voswildian Society, while the Market District is relatively split between the two.
