The Council of Giniseve Reborn

The Council acts in place of a mayor in Giniseve Reborn.
Although Xyrrel Yelfaren holds the highest position of power in the city, she has little to do with the politics and economics of the city. These issues are left to The Council.
The Council is made up from 12 members - 2 members from each districts of the City. For each district, one member is elected via popular vote while the second member is selected through 'Divine Intervention' - a lottery which is held that chooses a citizen from the district at random to become a council member.
Elected members hold thier position for 3 years before another election and lottery is held.
