Session 4 - Off To See Yelfaren, Lady Of The Light
General Summary
12th The Melting, 2063 EC
The session began with Toth just barely managing to apprehend the Orleathean Agent, Gensalor, before he escaped in to the sewers below Giniseve Reborn.
Soon after, the party gathered on The Step before heading towards The Firekeep, lead by Cozira and Khartag. Craric was intimidated by Toth on the way, Gensalor and Parmenion Vesqand (who had turned to stone at this point) were carried.
The party were to spend the night in a prayer room within the keep, waiting to meet with Xyrrel Yelfaren in the morning. They were guarded by a Paladin of Dawn named Saadrith.
Toth and Faephine discussed the Orleathian Orders that were recovered from Gensalor.
Morda Shang struggled with being held captive, but ultimately remained calm.
Wanklicus took a book and left the prayer room in search of a toilet. On the way, in the moonlight, he spotted an owl land on the central palace and disappear inside, through the skylight. Following the curiosity, Wanklicus entered the palace to see Xyrrel Yelfaren at her desk, with the owl. The owl's right wing was noticeably damaged.
Interrupted, the owl flew at Wanklicus, scratched at his face and flew away. Xyrrel appeared slightly confused by this occurrence but not particularly concerned. After a brief conversation, Wanklicus left and returned to bed. It remains unclear is he ever found a toilet.
Requiring only four hours of rest, Faephine filled her time reading while she waited for dawn.

Dawn was greeted by prayer and song within the Firekeep. Morda accompanied this with a performance of his own, his melody merging with Lathanderite prayer and the ambience of light morning rainfall. The party made their way towards the central palace.
Xyrrel Yelfaren, Etavah Dono, Cozira and a number of Lathanderite priests and City Guard met with the party within the palace.
The detained Gensalor and Craric were also present.
After some introductions and explanations - and an unfortunate punishment for Morda for speaking without being spoken to - the party turned their attention to the two captured Orleathean agents. Delrora exposed their informant within the city guard using a disguise self spell, and Etavah Dono left the meeting in order to detain him.
Toth stepped up, and led the interrogation. The party were told that the Orleathean Ulamenor were present on the island in order to disrupt the Efrasse trade and were only recently given orders to capture Faephine. They were not even aware of who she was. The party were told where the Ulamenor were based and that someone named Ninanth lead the operations here.
Gensalor was executed during the interrogation and Craric was told that he would be freed and given the chance at a new life in exchange for the information he had provided.
Faephine Liamoira revealed her true identity to Xyrrel.
Xyrrel explained that a strange sickness was spreading across Galtia. She said that she suspected that the druids of Ashscrub Grove were responsible.
A deal was struck. The party were given two weeks worth of rations and 1500 gold. Morda was offered free training at the Bardic College of Valour. In return, the party would investigate Ashscrub Grove for signs of the origins of this strange sickness. The Keepers also agreed to not interfere with the Orleathean outpost for two weeks.
The party returned to the The Minotaur's Maze, while Morda made his way to the Bardic College.
