Session 3 - Dawn at Dusk
General Summary
12th The Melting, 2063 EC
The party spent some time at The Minotaur's Maze, resting, having food, speaking with some patrons and sampling the local delicacy - Vos Wine.
Toth was recognised and approached by Preshana as she was leaving. She told him she was currently working with a merceary group escorting Riddan Valenshot to Valenshot, although they seem to be staying at Giniseve Reborn for a while. This wasn't where she was expecting to be staying, but she wasn't complaining.
Recognising the name Glynyarus on a bottle of Vos, Toth asked about the name. He discovered that Glynyarus owns a nearby vineyard and his sister, Siltanelya Umaren, lives in Giniseve Reborn.
Wanklicus made a surprisingly good impression with Rakdaran Jaggedheart, a minotaur who sat drinking accompanied by the bar's cat.
Delrora of the Blessed Coin bought a drink for the strange transparent man.
Toth Talcaryn won a game of beggar's toss, playing with some sailors. They told him that their ship was temporarily grounded. They hadn't heard anything about a shipwreck.
Morda failed at an attempt to return the bottle of Rum he had drunk, now filled with thaumaturgy effected water. The bar man saw him drink it and re-fill it. Halkoris also arrived at the tavern, with two companions, but never got a chance to speak with any of the party.
Faephine, feeling restless, left the tavern and went for a walk towards the docks. There were people arguing at the docks about something.
When Faephine left, the rest of the party noticed an off duty city guard, who they recognised from earlier, leave following her. Delrora followed this guard, disguised as Etavah Dono, and saw him meet with two other figures in an alley. He informed these two that Faephine had headed towards the docks.
While returning from the docks, Faephine was approached by these two people. They ordered her to come with them, threatening her when she didn't comply.
At this point, a fight broke out with Faephine fending off her two assailants and Morda putting them to sleep. A Paladin of Dawn approached the scene and ordered everyone to drop their weapons. The party fought the Paladin for a full minute, until a priestess and three city guards arrived at the scene.
Parmenion, inspecting the sleeping figures, discovered that they were wearing Orleathian armour. Toth found a Bounty Note on one of them.
Delrora, still disguised as Etavah Dono, ordered the guards to fight the Paladin. Two followed the orders, one refused, dropped his weapon and retreated.
The Priestess soon prevented any further violence, claiming that Xyrrel Yelfaren wanted to see the party.
One of the Orleathian elves who had attacked Faephine woke and was able to start running away. Toth gave chase.
