Session 2 - The Depths of Kexl

General Summary

12th The Melting, 2063 EC   The party found the four Gate Statues of Kexl. One of the statues was damaged, revealing a skeleton beneath. The damaged statue spoke, commanding the Servant to attack the party.   Wanklicus smashed the skull of the damaged statue, preventing it from issuing any other commands. Meanwhile, Morda and Delrora used thaumaturgy to distract The Servant, ultimately locking it in place with a final command.   Faephine spotted a lose stone in the wall of the gate room, but was unable to reach it at the time.   Permenion had also collapsed at this point. He fell to the floor and, for some reason, began to turn to stone. He dropped some notes and a map of Voswiadul.   Shortly after, the party managed to find all elemental orbs, and placed them in the hands of the correct statues, opening the passage in to the gate room. Here, Morda placed the Keystone on the altar, activating the gates.   The party entered the left gate, crossed the bridge and found themselves in Naughaorth. They left this ruin via The Relentless March, where Faephine, Morda and Toth were aged slightly from moving the orb across the room.   Next, the party emerged from Naughaorth to find themselves in the central park of Shiram Garden, in Giniseve Reborn. From here, they were escorted by the city guard to speak with Etavah Dono, to explain where they had come from.   The party were instructed not to leave the city for a few days, in case they were needed to answer any questions, and told to stay at The Minotaur's Maze. They made their way to the tavern, via a tailor's where Toth and Morda bought some new clothes.   In the tavern, the party saw a few notable patrons. A minotaur sat alone drinking from a beer keg. Another person, human looking, was strangely transparent. A third apparently recognised Toth, and called out to him in greeting.
