Almon D'Joy is eventually going to target family. Yank the support away from that chaos monk; disregard her while she crumples. Better yet, family can be manipulated to drag her into fast-acting damage.
He is going to try this. It is consistent with his record. It is "sensible".
Glossing over the scenario won't make it any more tolerable.
