Thedroth
Thedroth is one of the few planets where humans were the first civilized species to create a settlement.
Its surface is covered in toxic gas, the only places with breathable air, are on the top of high plateaus.
Cities are built on, and in, the plateaus, with buildings, or rooms, going deep underground.
A group of humans broke off from the colony and ventured into the gassy wasteland with gas masks. They never came back.
The colony sent out people to hunt, and explore the toxic surface. Not many of the hunters came back, and the ones who did return, reported seeing strange cultists, covered in metal and wearing gas masks. Legend has it, that the group who broke off from the colony, encountered a god, and became its loyal followers. Divine, flying whales used to live on Thedroth, but most were killed or enslaved. Only one whale is known to remain, and its used to fly from plateau to plateau without having to risk travelling through the gas covered surface.
