Whale, Thedroth variant
Like most whales, the Thedroth Whale has a massive body, two flippers, and a big tail. The animal's colors vary, some are blue, some are green.
It can breathe the toxic clouds of gas and is capable of sucking up a lot of the gas and replacing it with oxygen.
When there were many whales alive, the planet had much more breathable oxygen on its surface.
The humans believe that the whales came from a faraway system, and evolved to survive the toxic gas.
Unbeknownst to the humans living on the plateaus, a massive pit is located far in the wasteland, where the whales were born. The gods formed them from clay and iron that sits at the bottom of the pit, and brought them to life, turning their clay bodies into flesh. The whales are very intelligent, and are not considered animals by most, but rather, considered as gods. In reality, these animals have been blessed by gods with great intelligence, the ability to see a short distance into the future, and telepathy. The whales used to sing, like the ones that were once on Earth did, but when they realized that they were being hunted and enslaved, they became quiet. Occasionally, they would sing sorrowful songs throughout the night, but now there are too few whales alive for any songs to be heard. The one whale that is not in hiding, is used to fly from one plateau's city to another. It calls istelf Harbor. He is not a slave, Harbor claims that it was sent to them by Vyphion as a gift to the humans.
Whenever someone abuses Harbor, he smacks them with one of his flippers or with his tail. Three out of ten people who hurt Harbor survive.
