Tel Kidi

Tel Kidi is a small rural community on Ocarro. It is somewhat traditional and mostly a farming community with most of the population involved in the Crocela herding business in some way. Most of the people living in the area are sedentary but still have roots in traditionalism.   It is located in the backlands of the planet and is fairly isolated from the larger communities.

Locations

The village and surrounding areas have a small public school, a local grocery store, and a few other major locations and landmarks.

Tel Kidi Cantina

The Tel Kidi Cantina is the local bar in the town and has been owned by numerous different people over the years.   The Cantina is made up of one main building containing a kitchen, a storage room, and a bar and dining area for the customers. It is a mix of styles, mostly filled with memorabilia donated by locals over the years with lots of pictures and art on the walls. There is also a small holoscreen mounted over the bar where they will play sports games or the news depending on what is going on that day.   Being the towns only watering hole, many people will gather at the cantina after work to socialize and hang out with their friends and neighbors. When there are important sports events or similar events that would be shown on the Cyber Net across Ocarro, many people will gather there to watch and celebrate, often will bets being placed and lots of drinking being done. The day of the Ocarran Races is often one of the busiest days for the business.

al-Sani Family Homestead

The al-Sani family homestead is the land owned by the al-Sani Family. It has been used for farming, specifically the rearing of Crocela, for as long as the family remembers.   The land has a large house on it where the family resides, a separate kitchen building, as well as a barn for the livestock. There is also a garden where the family grows some fruits and vegetable plants for extra food. The homestead is very traditional and rustic, with lots of antique items inside, this is in part due to it being in a rural and traditional area and also due to the family patriarch Nabil al-Sani’s tendency to keep all the old antiques from the family's history.   Currently, due to Asmun al-Sani and his family living in Cantaro, only some of the family live there. However, the family still all gathers there for the holidays and important events.
