Physical Characteristics
Physiological Description
Nabil is a thin and lanky old man, he now stands at 5ft 8in but was at one point taller, but he is still quite fit for an old man. He had dark olive skin, with lots of age spots and moles. He has thin grey hair that he keeps cutting a little bit on the longer side. He has a rectangular face, dark deep-set eyes, and an aquiline nose.
Clothing Style
Nabil dresses in a very practical and utilitarian style of traditional dress. He feels like traditional clothing is part of being an Ocarran and he gets sad to see the younger generations deviate and deem traditional clothing as weird.
Mental Charictaristics
Personal History
Nabil grew up on the Family homestead, married his sweetheart, and took on the family farm after the death of his own father. He and his wife had two sons, Asmun and Emir, and raised them as Nabil was raised, learning life skills and such by working on the family farm and getting formal education at the local school.
He and his son Asmun do but heads on occasion, this became more often after Asmun moved away to the city, a decision that Nabil heavily disagreed with. He thought it would make his son and his family forget his roots.
Education
Nabil was taught basic life skills like hunting and how to take care of the farm by his parents, he got some formal education from the local school but he would skip often to do other things and is partly self-taught because of this.
Employment
Nabil has worked on the family farm his whole life, selling the meat from his livestock, and produce from his fields to make a living.
Personality Characteristics
Nabil is a smart man, at least when it comes to dealing with things like hunting, farming, and general survival skills. He has taught his kids these skills as they were part of living on the family farm and has attempted to teach his grandkids, he has only been successful with Yusra because of his other grandkids living some distance away.
He is also quite stubborn, insisting that he can do things that he should no longer be doing, or can't do, because of his old age. He can get quite angry due to his stubbornness and will kick a fit if he does or doesn’t want to do something and someone tries to stop him.
