Pandoran Mountains

The Pandoran Mountains are not the tallest nor the most majestic of Karnes' peaks but they hold a special place of infamy as the most Barbarian infested of mountain ranges. Dozens of different barbarian tribes make their lives among the peaks and valleys of the range. Most never range far from their home camp, maintaining a subsistence lifestyle and engaging in endless periodic border wars with their neighboring tribes. But the three largest tribes, The Slabs, the Sykoss and The Scarlet have a more wide reaching and powerful influence than their neighbors. In centuries past the Sykos were known across the Hinterlands for their vicious campaigns of marauding, kidnapping, and pillaging. The Slabs and Scarlet both developed a deserved reputation as mercenaries, sending their best tribes members out to serve as warriors and soldiers.
The recent events of 001 A Mysterious Offer, have revealed that the Pandoran Mountains were previously home to one of the ancient Seals which bind the dark Deity Tiamat within Soma. The Seal was successfully destroyed by the efforts of the The Theia Commerce Group and one of their chief officers Aldrin despite opposition from Resistance forces.
The Pandoran Mountains are home to numerous settlements including the mining town of Foothill and the large barbarian encampment of Slabtown.
