Inscrutable Meat

Inscrutable Meat is an unusual concoction of Slab origin which involves combining an unidentified animal meat and an unknown number of other ingredients and subjecting to prolonged cooking over open flames. The end result is ultimately more alchemical than culinary, a kind of pressurized meat slurry that is incredibly long lasting and also, incidentally, quite combustible. The normally cavalier Slabs become quite careful when transporting barrels of Inscrutable Meat, a trait bred through generations of selective survival.
