Bituin Sand Dunes

The Sand Dunes are a hot and dry region of Bituin. The mountain funnels most rain and cool air down to the forest, leaving little for the area on the other side. Hot dry air also frequently flows in from neighboring country of Shakti, exacerbating this issue. Lush plants have issues growing here, leaving only sparse desert plants.
Over millions of years, the ground in this area has broken up into beautiful pale sand dunes that draw in visitors who are willing to withstand the harsh conditions. There's also a singular large lake which allows tropical plants to thrive and also provides a necessary source of drinking water for the locals. The miinu villages of Glittering Oasis also be found at this lake.
