Twekkin Slang

These cursed Twekkins are rude, loud and are a distasteful sight on our streets! And those ridiculous half words hat are closer to grunting than civilized speech! I have no idea what "Kanesh" even means but I have no doubt I do not want to really know!

As Twekkin are human orphans having grown up within dwarven care, they do not feel like they belong to neither human nor dwarven societiy. This does not stop them from merging and lending several dwarven words and mixing them into their mostly human speech. During so, they bastardize many original meanings and make them their own. This is fascinatingly enough well seen in some of the more rude slang terms.

Insulting Slang terms

Desh

While Desh usually means weed in dwarven, there is some context when it can refer to a human village that has rapidly grown over the past few decades. Within Twekkin groups this became a common term for any human that is not Twekkin. Furthermore they associate weakness, timid behavior as well as uncoordinated actions with several of reused terms.

Karok-Desh	(lit. "Stumbling Weed") "Incompetent Fool"
Koma-Desh	(lit. "Ungrown Weed") "Weakling"
Komadi!	(lit. "Ungrow!") "Shut up!"
Deshek	( lit. "Wildgrown Weed") "Fool", "Idiot"

Common usages:
Every Karok-Desh can do this!
Stop slowing us down, koma-desh!
You think you are better then me? Komadi Deshek!

Hansh

The word Hansh actually describes the slag that is created in the alloying process. In dwarven languages this also describes worthless stuff that gets thrown away. However for Twekkin any one of their kind that could easily be discarded simply did not work hard enough. With this in mind, Hansh became a word for lazyness an ineptitude.

Common usages:
If you want to be Hansh about it, you can leave now.
You cannot help, Hansh.
Whoever did this, made some Hansh out of it

Krok

If you want to declare something as low grade quality in dwarven languages, you call it Krok. Twekkin took this word and made this their by far rudest insult. You can make mistakes, you can be sometimes slacking off, you can show your human side too much sometimes. But being called of inherently bad quality, ultimately worthless, will deeply insult any Twekkin.

If a Twekkin calls something or even you Krok he sees no positive quality within you and hates your guts.
