The Nightingale has been in the Ravenous Ravens since at least AE 2055, possibly earlier. She didn't rise much in ranks before Oci, Raven Lord and leader of the Nightfeather Lodge, chose her as his overseer. Some Ravens saw this as slightly scandalous, since the rumors about them being lovers were spreading through the lodge like wildfire, but nobody wanted to question the Raven Lord's decision. She's held this position ever since.

There are rumors of her having a relationship with Oci, since they seem awfully close to each other. She was also conveniently away for several months, so the rumors about a possible child is rampant. The Nightingale herself won't confirm or deny any of these rumors, she will just glare at the person who confronts her with it until they go away and leave her alone.
