Port Fishtown
Port Fishtown is a small coastal town on the southern coast of Asharia. It is outside of the safety of Vutara Bay, which means there isn't too many large ships risking the dangerous deep seas that surrounds Shireon. Large ships risk getting eaten by the Sailor's Nightmare.
The settlement is known for its local variant of smoked wartarak. The spices used are not used anywhere else, and people who are interested in food travel here from far away to try it. In fact, the popularity of this smoked fish made the town inhabitants start holding a festival in the dish's honor. This festival brings hundreds of people from all over Shireon to Port Fishtown to enjoy some smoked delicious food.
The city mainly lives on fish caught relatively close to shore, to prevent being eaten. There is also some farming outside the town, to grow some variety from the mostly fishy diet of the inhabitants. There's some wood close to the town, but not too much. It's enough to keep the town supplied with the most important wood based things, but not enough to make a large industry.
This is a pretty standard town, made out of a plaza in the middle surrounded by homes and businesses. At the south end there's a small port, mostly for small fishingc boats, but large enough to fit one huge ship, just in case someone with a huge ship decides to be immensely stupid defy the dangers of the Sailor's Nightmare.
