But a sword...a sword has a voice. Sheathed it has little to say, to be sure, but you need only put your hand on the hilt and it begins to whisper in your enemy's ear. A gentle word. A word of caution. Do you hear it? Now, compare it to the sword half drawn. It speaks louder, does it not? It hisses a dire threat. It makes a deadly promise. Do you hear it? Now compare it to the sword full drawn. It shouts now, does it not? It screams defiance! It bellows a challenge! Do you hear it?

My worldbuilding journey began in early 2017 after diving into a rabbithole of tutorials on reddit and in November of the same year, I joined WorldAnvil after seeing their post advertising early beta access :D Since then, I've grown from an "I-have-no-idea-what-I'm-doing" hobbyist in my bedroom to an award winning worldbuilder living on the other side of the world with the man of my dreams - all thanks to the encouragement from this amazing community and the wonderful friends I've made here! I've been working on the dark fantasy world of Melior since 2015, and starting in late 2023 I've started a new bright fantasy world (with colourful pixel art!) called Journals of Yesteryear. I love deep-diving into *all* aspects of worldbuilding and unleashing my hyperfocus into things like mapmaking, climates, conlangs, timelines, magic, chonks of lore, and of course, making that oh-so-shiny CSS for my worlds!
