Tapukeah Alucia Memorial Temple
The Tapukeah Alucia Memorial Temple is a Phidas temple with a rich history that has found itself economically and politically dwarfed by larger newer temples. It still sees use as a holy temple and periodically receives pilgrims who visit to see the relics.
Purpose / Function
To house holy relics and serve as a quiet place for Phidas' faithful to show their peity and devotion.
Architecture
The temple is sort of a reverse of the norm for Phidas temples. The outside is relatively inconspicuous and spartan and the inside has beautiful art and architecture.
The temple is not a secret temple. Everyone knows where and what it is and it does have Phidas imagery on the outside, it is just not nearly as loud Phidas imagery as the Fumayan Temple of Phidas and Tapukeah Casmir Frymar Memorial Temple
History
While the temple is modest in size and influence, it is one of the oldest if not the oldest continuously used Phidas temple in all of West Colassia. It predates the nation of Kingdom of Fumaya whose capital the temple now resides in.
Over the centuries, the temple has quietly been accumulated Mask-centric relics including most famously the remains of Tapukeah Alucia for whom the temple was renamed.
Originally, the Fumayan Temple of Phidas constructed in the Nonagon Plaza of King's Lake was built mainly for show and the Tapukea Alucia temple was considered the "real" temple.
Over time, the Fumayan Temple of Phidas, and later the Tapukeah Casmir Memorial Temple gradually assumed more and more prominence but the Fumayan Masks refused to retire their oldest temple entirely.
The temple is mostly used by the Masks themselves and Phidas' most devoted followers for private ceremonies. The temple still attracts a small number of pilgrims. Normal Fumayans performing routine Phidas venerations largely do so elsewhere now.
