Temple of Oce

Most temples dedicated to Oce, Goddess of Water are laid out in a similar manner. They have one main receiving room with a large fountain of Blessed Water that worshipers can dip their hands into to heal minor wounds like cuts and bruises. Offerings are usually laid out around the fountain, though the particularly desperate may throw their offerings into the fountain itself. Prayers are frequently offered by taking a handful of the water from the fountain and carefully pouring it from hand to hand while praying, before releasing it back into the fountain.
Behind the fountain, there is usually a larger room that is used by the dedicates and priests to provide more intensive medical care. These practitioners use magic and knowledge to further enhance the healing properties of the Blessed Water so that they can treat more major wounds such as broken bones, rent flesh, missing limbs, and even mortal wounds, depending on the skill level of the practitioner. Most temples will also have a Teleport Beacon so that the wounded from anywhere in the area can be easily transported to the temple for triage.
Temple size and number of healers may vary based on location; large city temples may have multiple prayer fountains and as many as 100 healers (1 priest for every 4 dedicates), while small village temples may only have one priest and a single dedicate.  Oddly, small village temples tend to draw healers with a higher skill level than urban temples do, although the sheer quantity of healers in urban areas makes up for all but the very worst cases. Priests can also send patients to other temples with more expertise, as high level dedicates spend several years on pilgrimage visiting all the different temples and registering their travel beacons.
