Blessed Water

Blessed Water is found in Temples of Oce across Scalespiral.  This water passively heals small injuries, and can be activated by skilled healers to fix more serious injuries.  The water is generated by springs created and blessed by Oce, Goddess of Water, and as such the temples are built around the springs, instead of more flexible locations like the temples to the other goddesses. The location of the springs depends on many factors - death location of favored, high-level paladins are common places to become Blessed Water springs, but some were deliberately created in urban centers by Oce.

Utility

Blessed water is highly focused by intent and knowledge. Thus, lay people can channel it to heal cuts and bruises, since those are fairly simple wounds that would heal properly with time anyway. The healers study anatomy, and supercharge the water with their intent, directing it to knit bones back together, or reform organs. The more complex the healing, the more experienced the healer needs to be in order to complete it properly; novices can heal deep cuts and simple broken bones like clavicles, but experienced priests are needed for more complex issues like viral or bacterial infections, shattered hands, or mortal wounds. Truly expert healers can even restore missing limbs and organs. Fortunately, healers rarely need to know their exact expertiese level, as attempting a healing beyond your capabilities will merely fail, but has almost no possibility of harming the patient with incorrect mending.
Blessed Water can be transported away from the Temple fountains in any waterproof container, and many adventuring parties carry at least a single waterskin with Blessed Water, as most parties have at least one party with enough knowledge and magical ability to do basic battlefield triage like reconnecting limbs and temporarily closing major wounds, which can be just enough to keep someone alive until they can be transported to a temple.
