Brynic Empire

The Brynic Empire was an empire founded by the King of Durabryn and Sarbrynia after having gained significant power during the first Brynic Confederation. The King of Durabryn, Rewarhy Rutharon, would become the heir to the throne of his southern neighbour Sarbrynia by less than common means. The Queen of Sarbrynia had been on the throne for many years, a cousin to Rewarhy, and had mothered a sickly child which many of the local noblemen had little confidence in as a future king. After the young heir took a poor turn, the Queen turned to her cousin for help, and Rewarhy agreed to aid her with his finest physicians, at a price. She was to name him the heir to the southern kingdom, nearly doubling his domain in the process, and the helpless Queen had little means to deny this request. Eventually, the Empire would collapse and give way to the second Brynic Confederation.
