Protector Hornet
Daughter of the Pale King and Herrah the Beast, Hornet was brought up as Herrah's heir, set to inherit rulership of the Weavers. The fall of Hallownest to the Radiance's mindplague derailed that path. Hornet spent an unknown period of time stalking the kingdom in its state of stasis, eventually aiding Knight in his quest to save the Hollow Knight and destroy the Radiance once and for all.
By birthright and personal momentum, Hornet was a prominent figure in the rebuilding of the various factions of Hallownest after the fall of the Radiance, and she is now both the leader of the surviving Weavers and the Protector of New Hallownest, often acting as its temporary ruler when its king, Knight, is absent.
She is a ruthless and agile warrior, bouncing around the battlefield with the aid of her oversized needle and reels of silk thread.
