Personal history

Ell's parents were lost to the Everwood and she was actually raised by an agent of the Amberwood Commune in the farms around Spring Blossom. Eventually Ell was brought to the Amberwood Circle and her affinity for divination magic was cultivated. It was hoped she would become a chronicler or guide for the circle. But like many young elves, wanderlust gripped her, and she wanted to see the world.
She met Sir Rufus Reginald Thurgostadt in the Grand Duchy of Kadmos and fell in love with him. For a time she lived on his small family estate in the north of the Duchy. When she gave birth to Xanorin, Sir Rufus made the decision to take the two two Caeden Farne to live among the elves there. Ell raised her son among the ancient people, and enhanced her divination powers.
A few years later Ell and Xanorin found Sir Rufus a newly minted knight of the Duchy in the city of Mystemere. They reconciled (with Rufus claiming he left to make his fortune planning to return one day to bring her as a true lady of quality in the Duchy). Ell and Xanorin lived in the city, with Xanorin learning the merchant trade from his father, while keeping an eye on magical learning from his mother.
Once Xanorin left home, Ell would often leave Mystemere to return to Caeden Farne and even a trip to the borders of the Everwood that she remembered from her childhood days. She would keep in touch with Xanorin and Rufus, but the two parents began to grow distant again. In time Rufus' ambitions began to worry Ell, and when she confronted him about it, he made it very clear that his desire for power and prestege were more important than his family.
Ell left again, traveling and keeping in touch with her son as best she could. Eventually Xanorin became part of the Voyage to the Isle of Dread and his exploits filled her with pride. Sadly the same could not be said for Rufus. He was accused of treason against the Duke and was imprisoned.
With the death of the Duke and the fall of the Duchy to the Black Eagle, Ell felt the need to leave the Duchy all together. She traveled back to her childhood home of the Amberwood Circle in the Duchy of Tarna. She was welcomed with open arms, and caring hearts. While she feels comfortable among these folk, she has doubts about her actions (or lack of action) as events around her seem to be heading more and more toward the end of order on all of Cadash.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Has mastered the art of divination, but tends to avoid using the abilities too frequently. Skilled at negotiations and etiquette around nobles. Well acquainted with religion and rites associated with Yeno and Irev.

Failures & Embarrassments

Disappointed that Sir Rufus Reginald Thurgostadt chose to ignore her advice and stay in Mystemere. Doubting her decision to leave Caeden Farne for the Amberwood Commune.
