Nocturnal Order

The Nocturnal Order was founded as a secret society in 1187, by vampire Oberon Fising. Although the Guild of Time Displaced and some non-nocturnal Zartriites knew of its existence since the 1300s, little was known about how they operated or their motives. The only known non-Zartriite member was the Guild's nemesis Odessa Beaufort, though her goals and those of the Nocturnal Order were not always in sync.
In 1938, the Order's leadership changed hands and they underwent a thorough rebranding. From then onwards, under Anastasia Fising's leadership, they operate as a means of supporting the vampire, werewolf and, as of 2069, zombie communities. The Modern Nocturnal Order's remit involves reaching out to and educating the newly-turned, running support groups, and medical research.
Notable achievements of the modern order includes the invention of sun protection elixir and blood alternatives, the creation of safe spaces for werewolves during the full moon, and supplying valuable data which assisted the invention of the vaccine and cure for zombieism.
