This rouge Death Shepherd left his post on the plane of Kiep Sau convinced that Chet was not who he said he was. Once on the material plane, he learned of the events of The God Eater, and became hellbent on destroying the serpent. With the help of Welcome Tasks, he was able to form a portal the demi-plane Cacung Dien. He was last seen on the plane in the great Yuan-Ti City but his current status is unknown.

As a Death Shepherd, Facili's view on mortal life is a bit skewed. While on the material plane, he used his abilities to perform a variety of necromancy spells including taking morals who ventured too close to his den and turning them into shadows. In his eyes, killing and raising the dead would further help in his crusade against the God Eater. Due to this and imposing statue, he earned himself the nickname "The Murkfiend" from locals in the area.
