Yuan-Ti

Yuan-ti have their origins in arcane magic rather than being originally created by a single god. Their existence began before the collapse of the menagerie and in fact can be considered the inciting incident for the gods’ demise. Yuan-ti were once humans who were drawn to the powers of serpents through their dreams. Through dark rituals the worshipers of Giac Moran began to gain snake like features and become less human minded.
After Giac Moran consumed the menagerie, his loyal worshipers were taken from the material plane to the Demi plane. Since then, this have become their plane of origin and have to planeswalk to return to the jungle of Quai Thu.
