Darvan River

Geography

Forms a large swamp region, almost like a delta on the Needle Sea with the Tegan River . The capital city of Dalansvale is located in this swamp area where the two rivers meet.

History

Prior to The Cataclysms this river ran from a mountain range in the north of Irithyl to meet up with the Tegan River near Dalansvale . After the events of The Cataclysms, the shifting coastlines forced the river to run the opposite direction it normally did. Since the mountains that formed its mouth were no longer around, the river now flows into the ocean as a branch of the Tegan River. The confluence of the two rivers near Dalansvale has created a delta-like swamp region of near-tropical climate.
