Cote D'Prue
Overview
Residing on the eastern continent of Qaderus, Cote D'Prue is one of the four states of the nation of Androtia. Cote D'Prue contains the capitol of the nation of Androtia and it's only major port, Port Androt. Cote D'Prue is ruled by Gabriel Absalon and The House of Absalon. Cote D'Prue's reach extends out in to The Apsulian Sea as Fogwash Island is also considered part of Androtia.Demographics
Cote de Prue consists mainly of Humans however many other races live within this state, coming in to Cote D'Prue through Port Androt or from the north by way of Krognar or Les Marais Duluk. The royalty in Cote D'Prue are primarily human who refer to themselves as Desauveterre.
Government
The House of Absalon is the current ruling party of Cote D'Prue and the current ruling majority of Androtia making them the Lord Protectors of the country at the moment. They claim their lineage comes from the original founder of Port Androt, Andre de la Prue, who they believe is a descendant of Bjorn.
Honfleur Fortress is the major military outpost in the area, just north of the capitol. Hans Fiddleman is the leader of the fortress which provides protection to the nearby towns of Besse and Chambord.
Defences
Honfleur Fortress provides most of the major military defense for the central region of Cote D'Prue, however Amberac and The Citadel of Malakoff both have their own substantial reserves. Port Androt is defended by Gabriel Absalon and the Royal Androtian Navy.
Industry & Trade
Port Androt is the major economic capitol of the state of Cote D'Prue with most if not all trade for the nation of Androtia moving through it's docks.
Besse is a small farming town and roadside stop for travelers along the road to Honfleur Fortress.
Amberac is the other major city within Androtia and the trading portal to the northern state of Les Marais Duluk.
Infrastructure
To the south is the Citadel of Malakoff, a great institution and seat for the most powerful mages in Androtia. Surrounding the Citadel are the Desauveterre Fields, a holy burial site for fallen soldiers, Clairvaux, a small settlement near the border of Vallee Yotul, Etange de Monge, a mystical lake with sacred properties, and Chambord, another small town along the road from Honfleur Fortress to the Citadel of Malakoff.
In the center of Cote D'Prue is the small town of Besse, led by Mayor Aldous Barnsworth. and the Honfleur Fortress.
Moving north Amberac is the other major city within Cote D'Prue. Amberac is almost completely encased within the Longwy Foret which lies to the west of the city. Longwy Foret is known for its thick, dark woods and extremely dangerous creatures including Vampires and Werewolfs among other monstrosities. Beaune is a small town within the open fields before the border to Vallee Yotul.

History
Cote D'Prue was founded essentially at the dawn of man. Androtia, although not formally know as Androtia at the time was already being populated by Humans from The Apsulian Sea as early as 40 ADF. With the orcs natively residing in the north and east, and humans pushing in to the west from the sea, Androtia was rapidly formed as a nation.
Though tensions were always high between Orcs and Humans in the Androtian region, there was always a tenuous peace. With the Vallee Yotul Orc population slowly moving further and further out towards socialist and isolationist tendencies, there eventually was a brief civil war between Valle Yotul and Cote D'Prue in 2990 ADF. Since this war the Valle Yotul Orcs have further isolated themselves from the rest of the states of Androtia.
Geography
Cote D'Prue has a rocky shoreline with little suitable landing points leading immediately into thick forests. Towards the center of the state, the land opens up into large farming fields before reaching some low lying mountains at the border of Vallee Yotul. To the north is the thickest of the forest at the border to Les Marais Duluk.
