Port Androt
Overview
Port Androt is a bustling port-side city with many factions at play. Factions have their own specific leaders, territories, strengths and weaknesses. Each faction can help or harm you, and can ally with you, be your enemy, or be neutral towards a given player or the entire party.Demographics
Port Androt is a diverse city populated by primarily Humans, but has a population of Elves, Orcs, Half-Orcs, and Dwarves.
Wealth classes include all from the most poor who live on the outskirts of the city in Bidonville up to the Royalty living at the Chateau D'Androtia. There is the Centre D'Expedition, where shipping crews gather to stay at their respective company houses. The Anchor Island Shipping Company Lounge is here. The rich dominate in the Centre Commercial with large commercial buildings. Belaid Chabane is running for Mayor of the Centre Commercial.
Government
The House of Absalon is the current ruling party of Cote de Prue and the current ruling majority of Androtia making them the Lord Protectors of the country at the moment. They claim their lineage comes from the original founder of Port Androt, Andre de la Prue, who they believe is a descendant of Bjorn. The House of Bjorn refutes this fact and claims that they hold evidence that Andre de la Prue is not a true descendant of Bjorn and was merely placed in power by Mich-loix. Regardless, the House of Bjorn never releases the evidence. They know that the Absalons have been in power for thousands of years in some capacity and challenging their rule is foolish. With the threat of revealing the truth about Andre de la Prue’s lineage they hold a nice seat of political influence and wealth. The current Absalon party is related to the Kilgaard family by an immediate Uncle. Baron Kilgaard was the last Lord of the Manor on Fogwash Island appointed by Pierre Absalon . Baron Kilgaard was Pierre Absalon's great uncle. His daughter Belize Kilgaard is the current Master of Coin. Theodore Sharpe helps the king run the nation as The Hand of the King however it is later revealed that he was inhabited by the Chaos Demon Citri and was merely a shell for the creatures. Theodore was stopped by one of the Fragment wielders, Gamal Haroun and by The Adventurers.
Defences
Port Androt is a harbor in a bay that connects directly to the port-side city. The city is fortified by the large outer wall and by the Royal Androtian Navy which patrols the waters of The Apsulian Sea outside of the port. The Navy travels between Port Androt and Fogwash Island frequently as Gabriel Absalon is the current lord of Baron Kilgaard's Manor. Gabriel Absalon is the Admiral of the fleet.
The Port Raiders also have been shown to defend Port Androt with use of catapults and explosive barrels. The Raiders helped fight off the forces during the Invasion of Citri.
Industry & Trade
Port Androt is the largest port and biggest market in Androtia. Most of the traded goods in the region make it through Port Androt in some fashion or another and they also host the Drifters Drudges line of stores, the largest department store in Androtia.
North of the city there is a size-able potato farm and The House of Bjorn is another source of jobs for about 20% of the population of Androtia.

Guilds and Factions
Port Raiders
The Port Raiders are a band of scrappy thieves living off the Port. They live underneath the Centre D’Expedition and the Centre Commercial. Their leader Broth is a folk hero for the poor. They are more of a Robin-hood style gang and maintain community services for the poor and sick in Port Androt that are neglected by the wealthier Androtian Lords. They are good guys but also will steal from anyone and don’t trust anyone outside of the Raiders group. They are naturally in a rivalry with the more aggressive Dockside Drifters. They are led by Broth Lomas, a half giant who runs the Raiders through an underground sewer city.
Dock Drifters
The Drifters are a much more traditional, mafia-esque crime organization. Members of the Drifters have political tie ins to the House of Bjorn and connections to their family. The leader, Belaid Chabane, is the bastard half elf cousin of the Patriarch of the House of Bjorn, Radford Bjornson. Belaid owns the Drifters Drudges stores which comprise a large amount of the shops in Center Commercial.
The House of Bjorn
The House of Bjorn is the wealthiest family in Androtia and, as they claim, the oldest and original bloodline of Bjorn, the first Androtian lord. They have a gigantic estate that takes up almost a quarter of the Quartier Des Demeures Geantes district of the city. They employ thousands of servants to maintain the land which they claim is the original estate of Bjorn lived when he was not at Kilgaard's Manor, and basically the origin of Androtian society, and have millions of gold in generational wealth. They are bitter that they are not in power and don’t believe in the legitimacy of the Absalon lineage. Since they are a deeply rooted and respected family, the Absalon lineage has no choice but to tolerate their presence, although the two parties constantly engage in political subterfuge. Radford is cousins with the leader of the Dock Drifters, Belaid Chabane. They claim that there are documents held in the secret libraries of the House of Bjorn that prove the lineage of the House of Bjorn and use it as leverage to keep their political influence. The House of Bjorn will try to protect these documents at all costs. They are kept in The House Of Bjorn Archives, guarded by magical traps and ancient puzzles.

Port Androt Police Department
Ushnar is an orc from the Vallee Yotul region who immigrated to Port Androt and worked her way up the ranks of the Androtian Police until she became the Chief of Police. She does not care much for her homeland. Ushnar likes capitalism. Ushnar wants to bring down Belaid Chabane. She works with her incompetent assistant, Bat Speghat.
History
Tourism
The Centre D’Expedition is a large tourist attraction as it is the gateway into the City.
The Centre Commercial is the largest market in Androtia and is often a huge tourist attraction in its own. Additionally for the faithful the The House of Bjorn offers a large amount of history and culture on the origins of Humans in Qaderus.
Geography
The terrain surrounding Port Androt is mostly flat open fields coming off of the beaches. The fields quickly turn into forests, most notably Longwy Foret. Rocky cliff faces line the surrounding shores, with the Port Androt beach being one of the only viable strips of beach for landing in the region.
