"Look, to them you're a speck. A very flammable speck, but a speck nonetheless. They don't think about you, they don't care about you, and your house was just a pebble. All this to say, you don't have fire giant coverage on your home insurance."— An insurance agent
The Bowels of Fire & Stone
Fire giants are not born, they are forged. Deep within the molten heart of the world, where stone flows like water and the air is a blistering haze, they take shape. No one knows who, or what, first crafted them. Perhaps they are the remnants of an ancient war between gods, weapons left to smoulder in forgotten darkness. Perhaps they are older still, the first sparks of the world given form and fury.
A fire giant is no mere creature of flesh and bone, its body is a fortress of blackened stone, its veins running with molten gold. When they move, they bring the heat of the forge with them, their footsteps leaving scorched earth and smoking craters. Their breath is fire, not the gentle warmth of a hearth but the consuming blaze of a wildfire.
They do not dwell among mortals, nor do they wish to. Their homes are in the volcanic ranges and the hidden magma chambers far below, places where even the bravest adventurers fear to tread. They tend to their fires, shaping metals with hands larger than houses, their creations wrough with a purpose only they understand.
The Wrath of Steel & Lava
They are not mindless destroyers, though their anger can reduce entire cities to ash. They are builders, craftsmen of unparalleled skill. Weapons forged by their hands bear strength beyond reckoning, and their works of art gleam with an impossible light. Yet, their price is high, for the giants do not value gold or jewels. They demade stories, truths spoken in flame, and sometimes the very essence of what makes a mortal whole.
To face a fire giant is to confront the wrath of the worlds molten core. They do not roar or bellow in battle; they are silent, their fury burning too hot for words.
They are both the spark and the inferno, living embodiments of the fire that shapes and consumes. And when they walk, the world burns in their shadow.
Pretty words flow from you like ash from a volcanic edifice!
