Rigil Kentaurus Prime
Rigil Kentaurus Prime, colloquially called Kent Prime, is considered the most important planent in the Alpha Centauri system. It is where the Nadezhda, the first generational colony ship, made landfall, and where humanity's first home away from Sol was established.
Kent prime is similar in size to earth, but dominated by oceans spanning 90% of its surface. Two larger continents, called New Oceania and Nota, each about the size of Australia, feature the bulk of Kent Prime's and indeed Alpha Centauri's population along their coastlines.
