Nadezhda City

Nadezhda City is the largest city in Alpha Centauri and the political center of the system. It is the seat of the New Oceania Continental Council, the Planetary Council of the Kent Prime Republic and the Trinary Federation.
The city is located near the coast, with wide beaches in walking range of the city center. It grew around its namesake, the first colony ship to arrive in the system. Around the Nadezhda, which was converted to a building after landing and today serves as the seat of the Metropolitan Council are the headquarters of the political organs located in the city. The skyline is dominated by their highrises and the Nadezhda itself.
Nadezhda City is connected to Alenka Melinkova Spaceport by maglev. Ekranoplans depart to destinations up and down the coast and autogyros to inland settlements.
