There are many organizations and factions in latebra, far more being secretive and unknown than otherwise.

Despite all their differences, one thing, remains the same; they have members, contractors and associates. Over the many years there has been a trend of crude categorizations. While this is fairly simplistic and many professions, like spellswords, don´t directedly translate into this system, it has still found popularity to quickly organize personnel based on their "specialization".

Here are these specialization terms:

Glaive, an individual that uses physical might, weapons and armor, mostly through violent means. This role covers most martially experienced personal, covering, but not exclusive to, trained fighters and disciplined soldiers, savage barbarians and experienced rangers or even the practitioners of the monastic traditions.
Jack, an individual that is particularly gifted in the use of tools and other items, using their craft and ingenuity for their goals. This role can cover every type of of crafter, like blacksmiths, builders or alchemists to more specialized users like trappers or artificers.
Book, an individual that is knowledgeable and wise using their mind and intellect as their greatest weapon. This role has many different directions that can be taken, as their is an almost unlimited amount of useful knowledge for almost any situations. The book is most often just likened to "advisors", though based on the applications they can have very much practical uses. Logistic, communications, trade exploration are often parts that need the more qualified touch of a "book" to cover.
Spark, an individual that uses mana in any shape or form as their main means. This role literally just divides into using any kind of magic or other special ability.
