The Kingdom of Traelec
INTRODUCTION
The Kingdom of Traelec was established in late 4781 by Jax Arden , fourth Lord of Trouffen. The Confederation that preceeded it was corrupt and ruined by Lord Dolion of Adorea, and after The Fondalian Civil War, Jax setup a new monarchy to establish a balance to the destablized north. Although it only last for 600 years and through three kingships, the Kingdom of Traelec remains one of the most free nations to be established in Abeonic history.
POST-WAR TRAELEC
After the end of The Third Magic War of Abeon, the whole north was unstable and ready for anarchy. King Jaxson made strides to ensuring a power structure that would last, but ultimately failed in his mission. Both he and his wife, Gwendolyn Winslow hoped that their son Preston would become one of the greatest Abeonic rulers following their deaths, but instead he received the title 'Preston the Weakling'. In actuallity, a combination of Catelyn Meyer and Peregarde Axton ensured Traelec's survival after Jaxson's death in 4899. Preston reigned for just over a century, before the throne was taken by former Chancellor Bramwell's great-nephew, Laiden. King Laiden was corrupt and consolidated his power by using Preston Arden as a puppet ruler in Trouffen. Traelec would fall toward the end of Laiden's life, when their former ally The Archkingdom of Grinalia invaded and took over the land in 5302 5p.
