 INTRODUCTION 

 The gold decorated marriage bracelet became a popular ritual preformed by humans in the northern parts of Abeon around the 33rd century. During the events of the third magic war, many men would die on the field of battle and go unidentified; as a result, the wives of these men would go years in uncertainty about their spouses whereabouts- sometimes for years at a time. The marriage bracelet was created to be unique for each marriage, not only to seal the vow of faith, but also so that any widdows could find their spouses easier should the tragic happen. The bracelets were uncommon for the first several generations, but after the turn of the period, became extremely popular- especially in the northern penninsula.
