The Seat of Civilization, Aumar is regarded as the original ruling party within Aumyr. Younger kingdoms have commonly looked to Aumar as an example for rule-of-law, economic reform, and foreign affairs.
History
The Kingdom of Aumar became known as the seat of civilization in Aumyr and serves as the sole namesake for the entire continent. The Kingdom of Aumar originally crafted the Rites of Confederacy and established what is now known as the Aumyr Confederacy. Originally, this alliance existed loosely between only Aumar, Kessen, and Merosh before eventually expanding to include all independent kingdoms within Aumyr.
Demography and Population
Aumar is one of the most diverse kingdoms within Aumyr being the home of the largest populations of Gnomes, Goliath, Tabaxi, and Ursan. While Humans are still the dominant race in the region, Aumar is the only kingdom in Aumyr that does not have a larger than 50% demographic of Humans.
Territories
The Kingdoms of Aumar encompass one of that largest and most diverse landmass within Aumyr stretching across the Eldeen Plains, Thomulard Hills, Forest of Voices, and parts of the Cloud Mountains.
Military
The Aumarian Army and Navy are major contributors to the Aumyrian royal military and often lend help to smaller kingdoms, particularly during times of unrest or Reapings.
Technological Level
Aumar has outsourced all of their fate sealing and essence farming services to private industry within their borders. Magical advancement has grown significantly thanks to investments from the royal courts. In return for public investment, the Kingdoms of Aumar ensure private magical industries must contribute magical artifacts that benefit the citizenry.
Agriculture & Industry
The Eldeen Plains serve as one of the largest agricultural producers in all of Aumyr thanks to their mild climate. As a result, Aumar is one of the largest exporters of food and livestock.
Education
Aumar has a mandatory education program for all of its citizens ensuring state-paid schooling for children until they are 20. Children are taught standard reading, writing, arithmetic, arts, history, psychology, and a number of magical arts.
