As the King of Aumar, Marcello Aum was considered to be a benevolent and just leader. Marcello valued peace above all and was willing to sacrifice nearly anything for it. In political circles Marcello was not as popular, he regularly led inter-kingdom discussions to work towards trade deals that benefitted all parties equally often reducing the power or wealth of his own kingdom. Rumors swirled during the previous Aumyrian Collective that it was Marcello's policies that directly led to the Valdarn Republic obtaining the crown over the Kingdom of Aumar.
