Murriet

A small continent in the southern hemisphere of Poneren. This is the home of all humanity on Poneren, and the sole location humanity could be found for the first millennium.

Geography

A small continent, Murriet is roughly the size of India. The northern tip of the continent lays just south of the tropics, with the southern end well into a temperate zone of Poneren.   Murriet was created along a fault line, with the land largely being mountainous and treacherous. Rivers flow through the land from the snowcapped mountains to the ocean below.   The south-western part of the continent is the nicest area on the continent, lush and capable of growing a variety of crops well. The northern and eastern sections are harsher. Capable of sustaining life, the area is more difficult.
