The Uenndruk Relic (uʷɛnːdɹuk)

This Qhaaist relic predates the arrival of the Ptarshishin on the Gruthen continent. It is believed to be of Ptarshaii make but that is uncertain. It depicts a coile snake in cobalt blue stone, blue steel, bronze, gold, an rose-gold.   It has traded hands numerous times, and its origins are obscure, but it currently resides in the archives of the Ysfeto Relicry of pharaoh Zitziya Achwat.   "The Uenndruk Relic," is its official name, although it is often merely referred to as "the Relic," purports to be a representation of the collective assembly of deities and higher beings collectively know as the Anndruk Pantheon. However, unlike later assemblages, dogma, among religio-sectarian thought, the Uenndruk Relic places Qhaa as the senior God of the pantheon, and all others below or at least bound in fealty to him. It also pits the God of the Just against the Goddess of Conquest, Vhàrnàh; this legacy alone is continuous into the present.

History

As its origins are unknown, it may only be traced so far: it was first recorded in Ptarshishin records as coming from "the West," in the Schannite historian Sthaeya of Arantht who wrote about what it represented as was reported to him. His source, his informants, are unknown. Some first and second century Schqhènnite librarians have charged Sthaeya of Arantht of making up the entire Qhaaist hegemony surrounding the relic.   Later scholars, particularly those of the north—Qh'énnish Schqhènnites and Ptarshakkians Schannites—contested the validity of the relic and out-right reject its sordid, controversial legendarium.   The term is cognate with Anndruk—the collective name for the pantheon of PÈRYL—and is derived from the roots WV (moon) +NHN (divine) +DRK (ubiquity).

Significance

It currently resides in the Relicry of the Achwat Dynasts, in the Citadel of Ysfet, the Tzolgarin Kingdom of Ys. It is significant for many reasons, most notably it presumes a divine structure-hierarchy not held by present religious authorities, in that Qhaa, Serpent God of Justice, rules over the heavens and is in perpetual war not with Naahn, the Ever-Changing God of Chaos, but Vhàrnàh, Goddess of Domination and Conquest. Most religious scholars of the fifth century of the Qh’énnish Ascension hold RWK as High God; and although the Vhàrnàh-Qhaa conflict is accepted, it is not considered central. Qhaa’s conflict is usually not aggressive but is directed to Naahn and the chaos that Naahn’s followers wreck.
As the Relic is held by the Ysfeto reliquarists, the (Tzapli) Yssian designation is Hwantluc /hwɑntɬuk/ which is a mere transliteration of the term, based on parallelism to Cheotluc /xeɔtɬuk/ the Yssian equivalent for the term Anndruk.

Uenndruk is a Qhélssénnish term, and the Tzutlycannite doctrine of accuracy leads its handlers to refer to it by its earliest, most attested designation. However, it can also be called by its (Tzapli) Yssian transliteration—Hwantluc /hwɑntɬuk/—of the term based on parallelism to Cheotluc /xeɔtɬuk/ which is the Yssian equivalent for the term Anndruk.

Unique. There is only one such item. Although it has been documented in numerous Tzutlycannite texts, its truths—the mythology surrounding it—are not accepted in the mainstream, which further makes it esoteric and largely unknown outside rarified arcane circles.   Most Tzutlycannites (and Schqhènnites/Schannites elsewhere) reject it wholly as a merely beautifully created relic of an era long lost in time but its legendarium as utterly false.
