RWK (ɹɑwɑk)

The Most High:

RWK is the High God of the Qh'Raa/Anndruk pantheon.   RWK is called the "High Aerial God of Heavens," "the High," "the Bringer of Culture, Language, and History," “the One (on High),” and/or “the Greatest of Greats.” RWK is not usually pronounced, instead various titles, honorifics, and appellations are used.   Called also "the Impersonal" and/or "the Unknowable" because RWK is a being Beyond mortal comprehension and is not realized in human terms, nor is RWK given gender. The correct pronoun is nax, as in "RWK is an abstract god, beyond human understanding. Nax is not defined in gendered terms." Despite lacking gender, the following honorifics are used: “High Lord,” “Lord of the Sky and of Heaven,” “The Father of Heaven,” etc. however, gender neutral versions are used when they exist within the various tongues of Gruthe.   RWK's interactions with mortals are through nax exarchs, angels, and through the Divine Son, Trāne: the Divine Son of Heaven..   "Father"—despite being gendered—is often used, given that RWK is called the Father of Trāne: the Divine Son of Heaven..

Structure

RWK has no clergy or churches per se, tiny shrines in temples of Trāne are the closest to temples for nah.   Devotees of RWK are few and far between, but those who seek audience travel to the highest and most remote places alone. Spiritual isolation is an ideal among those who worship the aloof, impersonal, unknowable RWK.

History

One of the symbols of RWK is the Gothteinnes. In deep ancient pre-history in the era of the war of the gods, RWK wielded the bound demon Gothteinnes to vanquish the destructive elements of chaos and the Hungry Void.

Simultaneously an exceedingly common yet obscure symbol, the Sigil of the Anndruk is a marker of sacred spaces (historic sites of hierophanies, healing springs, ancient shrines, etc.). It is worn on the garments, as tattoos, carved into the filigree of weapons and gear by devout people who profess no henotheistic leanings, but hold the entire Anndruk pantheon as worthy of devotion.
