Tessent

The tessent is a statuette of a hitherto unknown creature described as being part bird, part squid and part cat in a crescent pose.

Extra-Dimensional Glass

The tessent is made of some milky white ore, from Anatta, with bands of aqua and pink interspersed throughout. It is distinctly crystalline; almost see-through in its less thick places. The creature it depicts is scaled like diamond, has a heavy mane and 5 limbs that supposedly opens and closes with proper manipulation.

Because the material originated from a faraway realm, it is conceivable that it has simulai properties that remain unknown.

Carving

Due to the purported 'emptiness' of everything that exists in Anatta, the tessent can be reasonably assumed to be of a sentient animal comprised of 'nothing'.

If it is true that the gavian used strange methods to 'carve' it, then it must have been brought over already completed and materialized its matter via a reality wave during transit.

Rumours

Gavians are naturally artistically inclined. Many of them create eye catching trinkets and artifacts for their personal hoard; reflecting their journeys, desires and social standing.

Treasure Map

One group of doomed gavian transmigrants piled their material possessions into a single nest. Where upon one member transcribed a clue of this trove of gavian cultural art onto the tessent.

Vessel

The hoard is little more then trash of found pieces. The tessent itself, however, is thought to be a container for some piece of information kept at its center.

Only a gavian would find any value in it.
