Personal history
They have seen their shoot through hardships. Larvikite’s destruction has been hard on them. Even after 24 years of searching for a new home the Oddbasilians' faith in him hasn’t faltered.
Gender Identity
*For most species, his features appear masculine or male presenting. While Oddbasilians don't have any gender constructs in their society, Samaritan Oddbasilians have loosely adopted some, especially considering Samaritans frequently associate certain features - and sometimes titles - with gender identities. Given his facial growth and leadership position, he has found it easier to accept he/him pronouns from outsiders.
Mental Trauma
As Lianas have a deep connection to Oddbasil, the abyssal infection of Larvikite took a physical toll on Pinea on top of the mental one. Members of the shoot have noted that they tend to wilt more than usual at night, even for its age.
