Oddbasilian

Oddbasilians are relatively peaceful peoples. They prefer promoting local flora and fauna. For anything involving the shoot, they follow the lead of their Liana. For everything else they incorporate into local nations. Very few shoots remain independent, finding it easier and mutually beneficial to exist as part of a nation.

Gender Ideals

Oddbasilians don't have the same gender identities of other species. They grow in Dryad Buds and most oddbasilians have stamen- and pistil-like structures on them. Those without one or the other, while technically being classified as male or female if they were purely plant life, do not develop diferently from other Oddbasilians and so societally they are not assigned any gender identity. The only further difference they carry is that they can continue the lifecycle of Oddbasillians to different degrees (offering only pollen or seeds). In the end, even that makes little difference.
