The Maine Oceans

The Maine Oceans are the presiding oceans of Greater Ovensu. Made up of the Southern, Western, Eastern, and Central Maines, with the arctic waters in the north, the Maine Oceans provide trade routes for many ships and companies, allowing for fierce pirating and all under fiercer storms. The Outer Maines are known for having some of the harshest storms, with the Southern and Eastern Maines experiencing ash storms from the far-south. Rumours of lands far past the oceans have existed for as long as mortal-kind has. Few souls have ever dared to venture beneath the waves for more than the first few dozen metres. Those that go further rarely return.
