Pirates on the Maine
The overarching term for groups of pirates that inhabit the Maine Ocean. Primarily called 'outcasts,' many of these people feel as though they have no place in formal society. More than half of the 'pirates' out there have done little crime more than sailing without official permission. Many of them are hobbyists, people enjoying life, or otherwise. Though, that is not to say that genuine pirates, ready to plunder ships for all they have, aren't out there. They absolutely are. The waters are dangerous for a plethora of reasons. Weather, piracy, creatures of the ocean. You never know what you might encounter out there.
Structure
There is no real organization beyond individual crews or companies. There is no real body of pirates, just an overraching term for anyone who falls into that definition. No leader, no structure, no laws.
